Academic Background

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley. I have also been an instructor of Mathematics and Philosophy at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the University of Miami. Although my research has primarily focused on the philosophy of mathematics and logic, my academic interests span diverse areas, such as the philosophy of technology, metaphysics, and the philosophy of language.

My academic work aims to find a balance between the characteristic structure of formal reasoning and the sensitivity of philosophical intuition.
